Today I’m posting another great recipe for your Thanksgiving table: cranberry orange relish. I usually make a cranberry sauce that has grated orange rind, but this time I’m preparing something a little different. This time I’m adding a little cinnamon and honey to enhance the flavors. There is no cooking involved, simply process and let the sauce sit; how easy is that! Prepare this relish the day before and just take it out when it’s time to eat.
- 1 tbsp grated orange rind
- 1 cup orange sections
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained
- cinnamon stick (optional)
- Combine all ingredients except cinnamon stick in a food processor. Process until mixture is well combined. Let sit at least 30 minutes to enhance flavors. Garnish with cinnamon stick.

Don’t you just love it when the recipe only has one step? This is a great recipe because it’s easy to prepare and it tastes fabulous! Simply process all the ingredients and let it sit. You can also serve the relish immediately but just like many sauces, it tastes better as it sits.
Serve the cranberry sauce with your turkey and use as a condiment for your leftover turkey sandwich!
